H.E. Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Director General of the Emirates Drug Establishment, stressed that Commemoration Day is a promise and a pledge that the sacrifices of the UAE’s sons will forever remain in our nation’s record of glory, alive in our hearts and inspiring us to continue the path of giving and development.

In a statement on Commemoration Day, Al Kaabi said: “On this day, we proudly and gratefully recall the heroes of the UAE who gave their pure lives in defence of the nation and its dignity. They chose to stand at the front lines, protecting its flag and safeguarding its land, writing with their noble blood chapters of honour and pride that will always bear witness to the UAE’s strength and resilience. Their legacy will remain a source of inspiration for generations to carry forward the journey of service, sacrifice, and nation-building.”

She added: “Under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, supporting the families of the martyrs has become a national priority, ensuring that the message remains clear: the nation never forgets those who sacrificed their lives for it.

“Standing by the families of the martyrs embodies the loyalty and devotion our heroes planted in our hearts and demonstrates that the UAE continues its journey with confidence, inspired by their legacy of sacrifice and selflessness,” Al Kaabi stated. 
H.E. Al Kaabi further said: “Commemoration Day is a moment to reinforce the values of loyalty and belonging and to reaffirm our promise that the UAE will always remain faithful to their memory. It is an occasion that strengthens our unity and cohesion, ensuring our flag continues to rise proudly among nations and that our martyrs remain a beacon guiding us toward a stronger and more prosperous future.”
